Detroit Speed Starts The Goodguys Show Season in Scottsdale
Mooresville, NC - While some of the crew was in
Indianapolis for the Hot Rod & Restoration show, the other
half was across the country in Scottsdale, AZ for the
kickoff of the Goodguys show season. After the hauler with
some new 2010 upgrades was setup, DSE was officially ready
for the first Goodguys show of the season.
Detroit Speed couldn't be any happier with how things turned
out.
One of the biggest hits on Friday and Saturday was the Autocross.
Customers and vendors jammed in line to get their
chance to show what they ( and their car ) had at the Autocross in front of hundreds of fans. There were old cars,
old trucks,
and everything in between lining up to make a few runs
including the DSE 1969 and 1970 Camaro Test Cars. Throughout
the weekend
Kyle, Stacy, and Ryan were more than happy to give existing and
potential customers a ride in one of the Camaros and let
them get a feel first hand how they handle. Ryan Mathews,
engineer for Detroit Speed, captured the first Vendor
Autocross of the season in the 1970 Camaro.
The weather was fantastic for the entire weekend, the crowds
were plenty and we look forward to seeing everybody back
next year.
Check out some runs from the autocross below.
