A Hot Weekend On and Off the Track at Goodguys Nashville



Mooresville, NC -  Nashville saw temperatures closing in on the 100's this past weekend at the Goodguys event, but that didn't stop people from heading out into the heat and making it a great show.

The DSE 1970 Camaro Test Car also put on a great show, capturing the Vendor Autocross trophy that was up for grabs this past weekend. Ryan Mathews, who might be brewing up a bit of an in-house rivalry, barely bested Kyle Tucker by about 2/10 of a second to capture his second Vendor Fastest Time trophy in a row. Not only was the 1970 Camaro Test Car making great laps but the 1969 Camaro Test Car and the 1965 Chevelle Test Car heated up the track posting great times and giving customers a first hand feel of the suspension and handling by riding shotgun along with the DSE drivers.

DSE thoroughly enjoyed the show and will be back out on the road July 10th -12th  for the Goodguys Nationals in
Columbus, Ohio.

Tim Spencer's 1966 Ford Mustang chosen as a Muscle Machine of the Year Finalist

Tim Spencer's 1966 Ford Mustang was chosen as a finalist in the Goodguys Muscle Machine of the Year competition sponsored by Detroit Speed. DSE would like to congratulate
Tim and wish him luck in the finals. The winner is to be announced at the Goodguys Scottsdale show that will be
held Nov. 20th - 22nd in Scottsdale, AZ.

The Goodguys Muscle Machine Award is handed out to one car at select Goodguys shows. After all of the finalist's are named the winner will be chosen at the end of the Goodguys season and will be awarded the Muscle Machine of the Year award.
      

Ryan Mathews Captures the Vendor Fastest Time for Detroit Speed at Goodguys Nashville

 Ryan Mathews, engineer for Detroit Speed has created a bit of a rivalry inside the doors of Detroit Speed while continuing Detroit Speed's dominance in the Vendor Class of the Goodguys Autocross'. Ryan Mathews has captured his second straight Vendor Autocross trophy besting Kyle Tucker by about 2/10 of a second Saturday in Nashville, TN. Congratulations to Ryan and all of the Autocross winners.
