The Project: Ford Motor Company asked Detroit Speed and Bonspeed to team up to build this project. We handled the chassis, sheet metal, and engine work. Bonspeed handled the paint, interior, and wheels. Detroit Speed adapted an independent rear suspension from a Lincoln Navigator into the truck. A great deal of subtle sheet metal changes were made. We installed a supercharged Cobra engine and 6 piston Bear brakes.

The Owner: Ford wanted to build a performance truck that would showcase the new F-150 at the SEMA show and on the new car auto show circuit.
