The Detroit Speed 2010 show season officially kicked off on Thursday in Indianapolis at the 2010 Hot Rod & Restoration show. Kyle Tucker and Stacy Tucker, co-owner's of Detroit Speed gave a great seminar, "True Suspension Techniques that Work" to over a hundred people Thursday evening.

Detroit Speed, Inc. hosted the 2009 TGIF Open House in Mooresville, NC Friday, October 30th 2009. The weather was perfect and the turnout was amazing making this by far the best Open House yet.





Goodguys Ft. Worth Goodguys Ft. Worth 2009

Once again this past weekend, DSE put their products to the test, driving both Test Cars numerous times on the Autocross and claiming the Vendor Fastest Time trophy.Ryan Mathews of Detroit Speed is starting to put some heat on DSE co-owner Kyle Tucker. Ryan captured his third straight Vendor Autocross victory with a very close battle against Kyle that saw Ryan come out on top by just a few hundredths of a second.




Goodguys Pocono 2009 DSE Captures Vendor Autocross at Goodguys Pocono

The 1965, 1969 and 1970 Test Cars participated in the Vendor Autocross at Pocono Raceway this weekend. They battled it out for the Vendor Autocross Trophy with Ryan Mathews taking the win in the 1969 Camaro Test Car from boss and co-owner of Detroit Speed, Kyle Tucker.




Run Thru The Hills 2009 Run Thru the Hills 2009

Regardless of the forecast Kyle Tucker jumped in the 1970 Camaro Test Car and took the scenic drive down I-40 through the mountains of North Carolina for the second week in a row towards Pigeon Forge. This time it was the ever popular Run Through The Hills event sponsored by Pro-Touring.com and MuscleRides.com. Following the 1970 Camaro Test Car, the 2010 Camaro Test Car and the 1965 Chevelle Test Car made their way out to the show.




2008 Year In Review Detroit Speed 2008 Year In Review

For some people, 2008 will be a year to forget. For others, including Detroit Speed, it might have gone by a little too quickly. Detroit Speed had a terrific 2008, winning numerous Autocross trophies, including the fastest Autocross lap at the Year One Experience and capturing the title at the Pigeon Forge "Run Through the Hills."

Project American Hereos Project American Heroes Build in Super Chevy

The Project American Heroes II build is now on newsstands included in the February edition of Super Chevy. It is a special edition with tons of pictures and a compete guide of the build and installation of all the products. Detroit Speed, Inc. was happy to contribute their DSE Hydroformed Subframe, the DSE QUADRALink, and many other DSE parts to the Project American Heroes II build.

Woman of the Year Stacy Tucker Named Woman of the Year

Stacy Tucker, co-founder of Detroit Speed, was named Goodguys 2007 Woman of the Year during the Goodguys 10th PPG Nationals in Columbus, Ohio. Tucker accepted the award, a specially designed character painting by renowned hot rod artist Bob McCoy, at a special industry reception Thursday evening, July 12th in Columbus.

SMOTY Finalist DSE a Top Five Finalist at the Columbus Nationals Street Machine of the Year Awards

Detroit Speed was honored Saturday night to receive an award for being a top five finalist for the Street Machine of the Year. DSE submitted Dale Earnhardt Jr's 1972 Camaro which was unveiled Friday morning before an eager crowd of spectators. We were  proud to be in the same company with some of the best builders in the country
