Today, Detroit Speed can help your Chevy II perform like a modern muscle car with an array of high tech suspension components.
DSE Subframe Connectors
- Our uniquely designed Detroit Speed weld in subframe connectors increase your car's stiffness by connecting the front subframe to the rear frame rails
- Fabricated from 2" x 3" x 0.083" wall rectangular steel tubing
- Laser cut brackets are included that attach the rear of the subframe to the connector for an easy, strong, and simple welded joint
- Detroit Speed subframe connectors are barely visible from underneath the car
- The connectors are bent and TIG welded in a fixture for accuracy and repeatability
DSE Front Subframe
- Improves the handling and ride quality by utilizing Detroit Speed's unique suspension geometry
- It is the ONLY Chevy II frame in the aftermarket industry with OEM quality stamped crossmembers for improved structural rigidity
- The bay bars feature rigid integral hood hinge mounting and are hidden when used with Detroit Speed's Chevy II Inner Fenders package

- No compromises in suspension geometry

- Detroit Speed exclusive no-bind "Swivel-Linkâ„¢" (Patented) technology
- With the Swivel-Linksâ„¢ pinion angle and/or wheelbase can be adjusted without unbolting the link from the car
- High durometer rubber bushings, no heim joints to wear out and make noise
- Long upper arms for pinion angle control
- Improved anti-squat geometry
- Long panhard rod for rear axle lateral control during hard cornering
- Stock back seat can still be used
- DSE/JRi aluminum body coilover shocks with 'Detroit Tuned' valving
- Lower links are offset inboard for additional tire clearance
