GM's G-Body architecture was introduced in 1978 and ran through 1988. While it had humble beginnings performance-wise, it provided the basis for iconic cars such as the Buick Grand National, Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS, and several NASCAR homologation specials such as the Pontiac and Chevrolet Aerocoupes. Today, the G-Body is an accessible platform for hot rodders that is capable of being a force to be reckoned with when combined with parts from the Detroit Speed Catalog.
DSE Tubular Upper Control Arms
- The Detroit Speed, Inc. upper control arm kit is a complete and comprehensive package
- Installation should take less than one day and should be followed by a professional alignment
- Suspension geometry is improved over stock by increasing camber gain and improving roll camber
- Upper control arms have been computer modeled and the components have undergone finite element analysis
- CNC stainless steel cross shafts which incorporate our 'Caster Tuner Bushings' that move the upper control arm fore/aft for more or less caster without adding alignment shims for precise and permanent alignment

- Allows the latest in coilover spring/shock technology to be bolted on to any G-Body, bringing your classic's handling and ride into the 21st century with our 'Detroit Tuned' valving
- The base coilover package offers extensive ride height adjustability and Detroit Speed valving
- This kit is designed for a factory GM axle with 2-3/4" axle tubes
- Spring Rate: 175 lbs/in
