1967-1969 Pontiac Firebird
Pontiac Firebird - 1967-1969
Pontiac entered the pony car race in 1967 with the Firebird. The Firebird's integrated bumpers gave it a sleeker look than its Camaro sibling. Even though it was the less-heralded of the F-Body siblings, the Firebird packed quite a punch in a small package making it a great platform to bolt Detroit Speed parts to for big performance to match those timeless looks.

DSE Subframe Connectors
- Detroit Speed weld-in subframe connectors increase your car's stiffness by connecting the front subframe to the rear frame rails
- Fabricated from 2" x 3" x 0.120" wall rectangular steel tubing
- Laser cut brackets are included that attach the rear of the subframe to the connector for an easy, strong, and simple welded joint
- The rear of the connector is tapered to attach to the rear frame rails and also has a laser cut slot that conforms to the rear seat floor pan to make it barely visible beneath the car
- The connectors are bent and TIG welded in a fixture for accuracy and repeatability
- Seat attachment hardware and the installation and removal of the rear leaf spring pocket is not interfered with
