The Detroit Speed DECAlink™ Rear Suspension Kit transforms the handling characteristics of 1963–1982 Corvettes by replacing outdated factory architecture with a modern multilink independent suspension design. Engineered for both performance street and competitive track applications, it delivers improved cornering stability, enhanced reliability, and expanded tuning capability.
Designed for serious builders and Corvette enthusiasts, the DECAlink™ system provides adjustable suspension geometry and shock options, bringing contemporary chassis refinement to C2 and C3 platforms.
Single‑Adjustable coilovers allow you to adjust rebound damping - giving the driver the ability to fine‑tune ride comfort and handling characteristics with a single dial. The perfect option for the vehicle used for occasional track use.
ENGINEERED FOR MODERN HANDLING & RELIABILITY
Detroit Speed’s exclusive multilink rear suspension delivers a modern leap in performance, reliability, and control.
The factory Corvette rear suspension routes suspension loads through the axle shafts - a design that often leads to halfshaft failures. Detroit Speed’s multilink system eliminates that limitation by transferring loads through dedicated suspension links, dramatically improving strength, safety, and long‑term durability.
Forged aluminum uprights paired with C7 hub‑pack bearings further elevate the system, offering increased rigidity, reduced maintenance, and consistent performance.
Fully adjustable suspension geometry gives you the freedom to tune your Corvette for any driving style. With independent control over anti‑squat, roll centers, and other key parameters, the system allows you to extract maximum grip, stability, and balance in every driving condition.
INTEGRATION WITH MODERN MANUFACTURING
The DECAlink™ Rear Suspension Kit is engineered for seamless integration into the Corvette chassis while maintaining Detroit Speed’s commitment to precision fitment.
The two-piece cast aluminum and steel differential cradle simplifies differential installation and service. OEM sealed cross-axis bushings provide the articulation of a rod end without the maintenance, delivering quiet operation and long-term reliability.
The system is compatible with the Detroit Speed ZR12 IRS Differential - recommended for builds exceeding 400 horsepower,or a 1963–1979 Corvette differential, allowing flexibility to match your performance goals.
